Daytum

Daytum.com, if you don't know already provides stats tracking. You can track anything you like, from bannanas eaten to miles run. I guess the idea is to share it. I find it fascinating, not looking at other peoples data but the ability to track random metrics.

I track my cycling, miles, average speed, etc, the usual for an athlete. What fascinates me about daytum.com is the metrics that people choose to track, sure there are the normal, last movie watched, number of teas per day. Then there are the caustic, for instance meetings tracked by, irrelevant, over lunch, boring, interesting. Finally the left field, underwear. I love the fact that someone thought to track the type of pants they put on in the morning.

Good news for those of us that came late to this Beta party is that in the next week(fingers crossed) it looks like daytum.com will mature into public access, I've requested my account and am busy thinking bizarre metrics to track.
